The Chux® DishWand is a new alternative to filling the sink with detergent. The leak-proof handle contains the detergent which is dispensed through the scourer, and the flip cap makes refilling quick and easy. It incorporates a large opening for filling with detergent, an ergonomic grip, and can stand vertically on the kitchen bench, allowing the scourer to dry when not in use.
Chux® is just one brand owned by The Clorox Company, a multinational manufacturer and marketer of consumer and professional products, with approximately 8,700 employees worldwide and fiscal year 2018 sales of US$6.1 billion. Infinity has worked extensively with Clorox, developing a highly successful range of water filtration products for the Brita brand.
In a highly contested cleaning product market, the goal for the DishWand project was to create a product that was superior both functionally and aesthetically, setting it aside from its competitors and allowing the Chux® brand to expand on their strong product range.
Infinity worked closely with the Clorox marketing and production departments, making several trips to the manufacturing facility in China to assist in the early stages of production to ensure a high level of quality was delivered within a very tight timeline.
Early sales figures have exceeded expectations set by The Clorox Company with all indications showing that the product will be a success for the Chux® brand and has already opened doors for other new products in their cleaning products range.
